Travis Brown was born on December 9, 1986, in Monroe County, AL. He is the son of Valeria Brown and John Albert Scott. He briefly attended school in Frisco City, then moved to Fairfield, AL, with his mother and step-father, Don Gilbert. In 2005, Travis graduated from Fairfield High Preparatory School, Fairfield, AL. He ultimately made New York his home and spent the remainder of his lifetime there. Travis worked in Retail and enjoyed his position in Sales.
He enjoyed the simplicity's of life and had a passion for fashion. Travis loved his sneakers and proudly owned many pairs. He accepted Lord as his savior and was a member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church until he moved to Fairfield. Travis worshiped with local churches throughout his lifetime.
In the early afternoon hours of December 28, 2021, Travis succumbed to his sudden and recent infirmaries. Although his wings were ready, his family was not. Travis was preceded in death by his mother, Valeria Brown Gilbert.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his father: John Albert Scott of Monroeville, AL; one brother: Antonio (Shineca) Brown of Forestdale, AL; two step-sisters: Shawn Gilbert and Donna Gilbert both of Birmingham, AL; one step-brother: Donald Ray Gilbert, Jr. of Birmingham, AL; his half sister: Erika (Eric) Wright of McDonough, GA; several loved aunts; cousins, nieces, nephews, other loved relatives and friends.
