Richard Finger was born on January 4, 1952, in High Point, NC. He was promoted to glory on January 13, 2026, in Mobile, AL. He is survived by his three siblings, Larry, Marlene, and Johnny.

Richard lived most of his life in California. In 1984, his father had a stroke that paralyzed him for life. That is when Richard made the most important decision of his life. He trusted in Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection as atonement for his sins. Therefore, Richard is now in heaven with his parents, John and Gertrude.

Richard is known for his great sense of humor, for being happy, and for caring about others. He enjoyed guns, motorcycles, and talking with friends. He also liked to share God’s Word with others whenever he could, even preaching sermons on occasion. In his last few years, he carried around scripture cards that brought him comfort when his health failed him.

He will be greatly missed by all who know him.
