Mack Clinton Booker, Sr.
Mack Clinton Booker, Sr. was born on April 24, 1935, in Monroe County, Alabama. He was one of several children born to Willie Booker and Mary Howard Booker.
Mack was a family man and believed in providing for them. He worked in the Logging Industry for most of his life. Logging was his way of life and he enjoyed what he did. He attended the public schools in Monroe County but went to work before completing his education.
In the early morning hours of Sunday, May 17, 2020, while at the home of his son, Jerry, he succumbed to his infirmaries. He traded his life on earth for a mansion in the sky. Mack was preceded in death by his parents, Willie L. Booker, Sr. and Mary Howard Armstrong Booker; three sisters Paulette, Diane, and Linda Booker; two brothers Willie L. Booker, Jr. and Jerry Booker; and brother-in-law Tiny Andrews, Sr.
He is survived by his brothers Charles (Alberta) Booker, Sr., Allen (Christine) Booker, Samuel (Zadie) Booker, Eddie (Ethel) Booker, Sr., Randy (Lynn) Booker; sisters Fannie Andrews and Carolyn Matthews; sister-in-law Voncile Booker.
He leaves to cherish his memory, eight children: Annie Lois Booker of Monroeville, AL, Barbara (Lewis) Hunt of Middletown, OH, Tequina (Jameel) Stallworth of Monroeville, AL, Roosevelt (Evelyn) Stallworth of Marietta, GA, George Stallworth of Moss Point, MS, Jerry Booker of Middletown, OH, Mack (Virginia) Booker, Jr., of Monroeville, AL, and Perry (Kamesha) Booker of Tunnel Springs, AL; two sisters: Fannie M. Andress of Monroeville, AL, and Carolyn Matthews of Mobile, AL; five brothers: Eddie (Ethel) Booker of Monroeville, AL , Allen (Christine) Booker of Uriah, AL, Charles (Alberta) Booker of Monroeville, AL, Samuel (Zadie) Booker of Monroeville, AL, and Randy (Lynn) Booker of Texas; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loved relatives and many friends.
