JOE NATHAN THOMAS

Mr. Joe Nathan Thomas, Jr. was born on Thursday, August 3, 1972 to the proud parents of Mr. Joe Thomas, Sr. and Ms. Lola Shutz Moore. He became affectionately known as “Junior.” 

Later in life, he became the musician at Greater Pinegrove Baptist Church.  He departed this earth on Thursday, November 10, 2016.

He leaves behind many to remember him, including his wife, Mrs. Sophia Thomas; two devoted children, Niesha (Cleveland Withers) Woodruff and Joe (Tangela Ervin) Thomas, III.;  his parents, Lola Shutz Moore and Joe Nathan Thomas, Sr., a devoted step-father Daniel R. Moore, Sr., one brother, Isaac Moore, two loving grandchildren, Chloe Withers and Ky’Moria Thomas, and a host of other family members and friends.
