was born in Monroe County, AL, on  August 23, 1987, to George Hunter and Gwendolyn Kirkland. He was educated in the public schools of Monroe County and attended Excel High School, Excel, AL. He worshipped briefly at the Excel Assembly of God before relocating to Moss Point, MS.

On Sunday, December 22, 2019, George was tragically taken from those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by a son and his grandmother, Lorene Gholdsmith.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted mother: Gwendolyn Kirkland of Excel, Alabama; his father: George Hunter of Mississippi; one brother: Jonathan (Katie) Kirkland of Pascagoula, Mississippi; two nephews; his grandmother Barbara Bradley of Monroeville, AL, and several devoted and loved cousins, uncles, aunts and friends.
