Fredrick Davison was born on November 8, 1977, to Freeman Davison and Janie Rabb Davison. “Scooter”, as he was affectionately known, was a kind and loving person. As a “Gentle Giant” he touched the lives of so many people. His contagious smile always lit up the room.
Scooter enjoyed the simplicities of life; family and friends. He was very helpful around the house and loved being with his family. He graduated from Hillcrest High School. No stranger to hard work, he worked at Walmart for many years before his illness prevented him from working. He also worked his own lawn service for a brief period.
In the early afternoon hours of Friday, July 9, 2021, at the young age of 44, Fredrick succumbed to his illness. Surrounded by his loving family, he traded his earthly labor for reward in Heaven. He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents: Robert and Gladys Davison and Wilbert and Leola Rabb; and one brother: Mark Gissendaner.
He leaves to mourn, a loving mother: Janie Davison of Repton, AL; four dedicated brothers: Curtis (Alethia) Gissendaner of Monroeville, AL, Keith Gissendaner of Jacksonville, FL, Gilbert Gissendaner of San Clemente, CA, and Michael (Shakita) Gissendaner of Fayetteville, NC, one devoted aunt: Elder Eulean Millender of Repton, AL; five uncles: Willie Lee Millender of Greenville, AL; David Stallworth of Warrenton, GA, Robert (Irma) Davison of Toledo, OH, Cleopheus (Lena) Davison of Miami, FL, and Winston (Elaine) Davison of Repton, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other loved relatives, cousins, two devoted friends: Dwayne Green and Byron Richardson, and other friends.
