Angela Jeanette Scott was born on July 29, 1966, in Monroe County, AL, to Pleas Joe Edwards and Ruby Pearl (Finklea) Edwards. She          accepted Christ and worshipped her Savior throughout her lifetime. Angela was a member of the Eagle Eye Worship and Deliverance Church in Frisco City, AL.

She is a graduate of Monroe County High School. She completed her training and Certificating in the Job Corp, Tuskegee, AL, and went on to finish her course of education to become a CNA. Angela, affectionately called “Ann” by those who knew and loved her, worked for many years as a CNA at Englewood Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center.

Angela was a devoted and loving mother. She loved her grandchildren and spending time with them brought her joy. On Friday, July 24, 2020, she traded her earthly woes, for salvation in the Master’s Kingdom with the Lord and Savior. She was preceded in death by  her parents; her husband, Frankie Scott; and two siblings Tracey  Edwards and Ronnie Edwards.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one son: Rashad (Jazzma) Edwards of Monroeville, AL; five daughters: Meloney Edwards, Dontavio Scott, Ronessa Scott all of Monroeville, AL, Tremeika (Michael) Jones of Perdue Hill, AL; and Brittney (Christopher) McPherson, AL of Little Rock, AR; one sister: Marion Edwards of Chatom, AL; three brothers: Donnie (Cathy) Edwards and Michael Edwards all of Monroeville, AL, and Timothy (Shenna) Edwards of Franklin, AL;  seven grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other loved relatives and many friends.
