Samuel Oneal Mason was born January 9, 1973 to James Cunningham and Marguerite Fountain Cunningham. He was a member of Amity Missionary Baptist Church of Peterman, AL, until his death.
Samuel was a native of Monroe County and attended J.F. Shields High School and Foley High School. All that knew him call him "Yard Man" or "K9". He was self-employed as an Auto Mechanic. He was preceded in death by his father James Cunningham.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Erica Fountain Mason; seven sons; Shaquille and Shamar Brooks of Ft. Myers, FL; Samuel Brooks and Tanerious "Bubba" Scott of Foley, AL; Kameron and Kayden Mason of Peterman, AL; and David Cunningham of Pensacola, FL; and a step-daughter Shakayla Harris of Peterman, AL; two brothers; William (Margarett) Mason of Niceville, FL and Willie Mason of Peterman, AL; eight sisters; Alberta Primm of Peterman, AL; Florence (Flo) Mason and Alice Cunningham of Monroeville, AL; Lou Mason Blakeley of Mobile, AL; Theresa McDonald, Shirley Cunningham and Mary Pettway of Pensacola, FL and Annie (Marvin) Coleman of Dallas, TX.; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
