Mr. Roy Lee Robinson

Roy Lee Robinson was born on October 7, 1957, in Baldwin County, AL. He is one of several children born to Lumanell Robinson and Sarah Lou Mason Robinson. He attended Baldwin County High School until the 11th grade, then he left school to help his parents provide for the family.

                  A hard working man, he was quick to learn skills that would sustain him throughout his life. He was a Welder, General Construction Worker, a Mechanic and he specialized in Roofing.

Known for his talents, he was a “do it all” type of guy. Roy, also affectionately known as “Roger That and Roger Rabbit” was loved by many. Not a day passed that he didn’t have a cup of coffee. He was generous and kind. He was a giving man who loved to cook and would feed the community if needed.

On Sunday, July 8, 2018, he heard God whisper his name. He gently answered and entered into the Kingdom with his Savior. He was preceded in death by his mother, a sister, Jen Robinson; and two brothers, Perry Robinson and a much younger sibling who passed shortly after birth.

He is survived by a loved wife: Hannah Robinson of Bay Minette, AL; his   father: Lumanell Robinson of Bay Minette, AL; five sons: Bruce Wykiene (Angela) Adams and Brandon (Caroleyn) Bolling both of Bay Minette, AL, ‘DMarcus (Shadera) Ikner of Daphne, AL, Roy Robinson, Jr. of Stockton, AL, and Derick Moore of Montecello, NY; one daughter: Pamela Moore of Bay Minette, AL; three step-children: Ronald D. Williams and Anna Ray both of Bay Minette, AL and Mary Ray of Pensacola, FL; seven sisters:  Martina Nichols of Daphne, AL, China Jenkins, Shanequa Mallory, Michelle Robinson, Wanda Townsend and Clarissa Robinson all of Bay Minette, AL, Marilyn Robinson of Perdue Hill, AL; three brothers: Robert ( Maggie) Robinson, Dale Robinson and Londan Key Gulley all of Bay Minette, AL;
