Lula Mae Ruggs Miner (Minor)
Ms. Lula Mae Ruggs Miner was born in Clarke County, AL, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Mack and Patsy Ruggs on November 7, 1941. At an early age, she joined the Little rock Baptist Church of Gosport, AL.
She later moved to Baldwin County and united with Southside Baptist Church. She was a loving person with kind spirit. She loved her family. Her entire lifetime was spent as a Caregiver and Homemaker, taking care of others. It was what she enjoyed.
On Sunday, April 29, 2018, she heard the Master’s call and took His hand. She left behind those who loved her most. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, two brothers, and two children. She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving sister: Minnie Carmichael of Frisco City, AL; two sons, one devoted: Prentice (Vanessa) Ruggs of Perdue Hill, AL, and Harry Ruggs of Newark, NJ; two daughters: Brenda Ruggs and Patricia Ruggs both of Newark, NJ; one granddaughter, Alisha DeLarrian Broadhead of Wetumpka, AL; three grandsons; two great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other loved relatives and many friends.
