Charles Edward Shutz (Shoots)

Mr. Charles Edward Shutz was born on June 16, 1950, to the late Leslie Shutz and Rosie Mae Shutz of Monroe County, Al. He was one of seven children born to this union.

He accepted Christ as his Savior and his Savior’s call to rest. He was a fun spirited person who enjoyed life. Charles had fun and took pleasure in the simple things of life, like laughter and happy times. He worked for many years as a Laborer for the Huxford Pole Company in Huxford, AL.

On Tuesday, June 6, 2017, the Lord saw that he should rest. He stretched out His hands and called him from his earthly labors. He succumbed to his illness while in the Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Jessie Shutz, David Earl Shutz, and Albert Lee Shutz. He leaves to cherish his memory, three siblings: John Shutz and Jerry Shutz both of Monroeville, AL and Lola Moore of Greenville, AL; one aunt: Mae Bell Nord of Monroeville, AL; a host of nieces and nephews, other loved relatives and many friends.
