Alice Faye Snider Shutz
Alice Faye Snider Shutz was born on October 23, 1952, in Georgia. She is the loved daughter of James F. Snider and Woodie L. Hadley Snider of Escambia County, AL. Her family relocated from Georgia to Alabama early in her life. A Christian woman, she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and served the Lord throughout her lifetime. She was a faithful member of the End Time Harvest of Monroeville, AL, under the Pastoral leadership of Pastor Vera Page.
She met Jerry Shutz and the two entered into the Sanctity of Holy Matrimony. Their love brought them eighteen years of marriage before God called her Home. Alice was a kind spirited person who enjoyed the simplicities of life. She was a “die-hard” ALABAMA fan and shared a “Roll Tide” any time she could. Her heart affectionately belonged to her dog, Jack. She loved to drink diet Coke and Diet Pepsi. Much of her spare time was spent shopping and enjoying her family. Alice never met a stranger and her warm smile brought light into any room.
In the early hours of Wednesday, September 12, God saw fit to call her Home. He gently whispered her name and she answered His call. She traded her earthly woes for her mansion in the sky. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her great granddaughter, Lacey Robinson.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted husband: Jerry Shutz of Frisco City, AL; two children: Bobbie (Andre) Gillard of Monroeville, AL, and Christopher Robinson of Uriah, AL; three sisters: Doris Ann (Geno) Pelerose Moreland, GA, Patsy Darlene (Ron) Grassy of Baton Rouge, LA, and Nancy (Curtis) Corey of Frisco City, AL; one brother: Eddie (Debbie) Snider of Huxford, AL; three grandchildren: Brent, Robinson, Michael Robinson, and Chasity Hyatt, one great grandson: ZyCoreyion Robinson; a host of nieces, nephews, other loved relatives and many friends.
