Demetrius Javon Crook was born on October 29, 1991 in Bay Minette AL, to Camille Martin (Auricus) and the late Willard Crook Jr.

He attended Baldwin County High School. “DJ” as he was affectionately called, was a devoted father. He loved his children and spending time with them. Family was important and he found joy in the time he had with friends and family.

On Friday, March 29, 2024, he was abruptly taken from those he loved and whom he loved most, leaving behind a void that could never be refilled. “DJ” was preceded in death by his grandparents: Willie and Shirley Brown, Willard Crook and Sadie Mae Crook; one brother, Willard Crook III and two aunts Deidra Crook and Jackie Crook.  

The happy memories and joyous times he spent here on earth shall be cherished moments for his family. He leaves these precious memories to his children:  He leaves to cherish his memories: three sons: Demetrius Javon Crook Jr, of Andalusia, AL, Kingston Bryant and Isaiah Palmer both of Bay Minette, AL; three daughters: Dariana Crook and Deanna Crook both of Andalusia, AL  and Dominique Crook of Bay Minette, A; a loving mother: Camille Martin of Bay Minette, AL; two sisters, Zykeria Crook of Greenville Al, and Dahshayelah Fletcher of Bay Minette AL; ten aunts, Wilona Lundy (Phillip) of South Carolina, Michelle Martin of Detroit, MI, Pamela James (Dewayne) of Forest, VA, Tamara Mitchell (Victor) of Daphne, AL, Lynette McWilliams (Patrick), Daphne Dortch (Walt) Neicy Crook, Yvonne Crook and Ashley Crook all of Bay Minette AL; three uncles: Wilson Martin (Denese) of Augusta, GA, Troy Crook (Jackie) and Dontae Crook (Tameka) all of Bay Minette AL; a very close cousin: Shamara Tunstall of Spanish Fort AL; a godmother: Vida Bush of Bay Minette, AL ; a god sisters: JaQuinta Brown of Bay Minette, AL; two close friends: Deangelo French and Adriane McCall; a host of other loved cousins, relatives and friends.
