"Bill"

Mr. William Henry (Bill) Lee was born April 13, 1952 to the late A. C. Lee Sr. and Annie Maude Lee. He departed this life on October 6, 2017 at his home in Tunnel Springs, AL.

William (Bill) confessed Christ at an early age. He joined the Antioch Missionary Church #1 in Tunnel Springs, AL where he was a former Usher. The Savior blessed him with Angel Wings and called him Home. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his four brothers, A. C. Lee Jr., Melvin Lee, Norman Lee, and Ronnie Lee.

“Bill” as he was affectionately known, loved his family. His happiest days were spent in the presence of those he loved. He was educated in the public school system of Monroe County. After attending the Monroe County Training School for several years, he joined the Job Corp, where he received his GED, and Certificate of Certified Sheetrock Finisher and Domestic Painting. He was employed for many years with Zapata Hayne Corp. as a Commercial Fisherman.

He leaves to cherish his memories two sons: Patrick Deon (Mary Jane) Nicholson, of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Jasper Elijah Nicholson of Bermuda AL; a devoted daughter: Arlena (Roger) Lee-Lett of Monroeville, AL; three brothers: Edwin Lewis (Okhui) Gipson of Greenville, N.C., James Carnell Lee of Monroeville, AL, and Jerry Lee of Tunnel Springs, AL; four sisters: Ella G. (Joe) Tolson, Annie J. (Mifford Jr.) Hill, Mary A. Richardson, all of Monroeville, AL and Wendy Kirkland of Brewton, AL; fourteen grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews, two devoted nieces: Monica M. Fountain of Tunnel Springs, AL, and Ebone` Sade` Hill of Huntsville, AL; other relatives and friends and a devoted former wife, Ms. Earnestine Lee.
