Thomas Stallworth Obituary

Mr. Thomas Neon Stallworth

Thomas Neon Stallworth was born on December 1, 1956, to Leo Stallworth and Hattie Smith Stallworth. He was one of several children born to this union.

He accepted Christ at an early age and united with the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Peterman, AL. This remained  his family church throughout his lifetime.

Thomas, affectionately know as “Bad Jack” and “Bull”, was a self-proclaimed “BOSS” who was loved by many. He enjoyed exchanging words and laughter with friends and loved ones. He was especially engaged in his atmosphere when Alabama was playing. A die-hard, roll until the end, ALABAMA fan, “Bad Jack” hardly missed watching the Tide play. His children and grandchildren meant the world to him. He loved doing puzzles, dancing and watching old Western  movies.

He attended J. F. Shields and when his time there was over, he went to work for the City of Monroeville where he was part of the Road Maintenance Department. He took pride in his work ethics and devoted more than 18 years with the City. A jovial spirit and kind hearted man. If he could do something for you, he’d do it.

In the early morning hours of Tuesday, March 6, 2018, the Lord saw that his time here was over. An Angel gently placed wings on him and he peacefully took flight. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters: Wanda Collins and Gladys White. He leaves to cherish his memories, three loving children: Bridget Lett of Monroeville, AL and Katresha Lett both of Monroeville, AL, and Terrance Lett of Excel, AL; two brothers: James “Patty Duke” Stallworth and Leo “Banks” Stallworth both of Peterman, AL; four sisters: Lillie Mae (John T.) Cunningham, Bessie McWilliams, Brenda Stallworth all of Monroeville, AL and Mary Ann Stallworth of Flint, MI; four grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other loved relatives and many friends.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
