Jadedrius Arrington Obituary

Jadedrius Shandrel Arrington

"Jade"

Jadedrius Shandrel Arrington was born on April 29, 1995 in Manassas, Virginia to proud parents Edward and Sandra Arrington. When Jadedrius was almost two years old, she became the big sister to a baby boy named, Edward Jr., known as EJ. Jadedrius and her family spent the earlier years of her life in the Manassas area where she attended school in Prince William County School System. Later in her childhood, Jadedrius was also enrolled  in both Culpeper County School System in Virginia and Prince George‘s School System in Maryland. Growing up around her loving family, Jadedrius picked up a few nicknames along the way, given to her by family members. At one time she was known as “Toot” and/or “Dede.” Eventually as she started to come into her own identity she decided to go by the name Jade. Jade often reminded many, “My name is Jade” as they attempted to call her by the former nicknames.

Once Jade was four years old, her biological parents divorced to go their separate ways and she continued to adore them both. Sandra would later remarry to Terence Huckstep. Terence took on a fatherly role to the kids, and she had a beautiful relationship with Him. She gave Terence the name “Big Daddy” and called him by that name until he passed in October 2014. Jade was always known to be very family oriented. She valued and loved her family dearly. She loved every moment that she spent with them. Jade would never forfeit the opportunity to express such love with hugs and kisses and sealing it all with, “I love you”. Jade possessed the most welcoming of smiles and a unforgettable hug so tight, as if she thought she was forever leaving you. Jade was a social butterfly and made friends everywhere with so many throughout her life. Anyone who knew Jade knew that she loved music and would often display that love by singing. She enjoyed making jewelry, tending to her pets, spending time with her friends, and everyone that she came in contact with.

Jade most recently was looking forward to  her new nephew’s arrival , but on March 5, 2018, she unexpectedly passed away at Prince William Hospital in Manassas, Virginia. Jade was loved by all and will be missed by all. Jade’s death is preceded by her Grandmothers; Sally Arrington and Carolyn Huckstep, Grandfather; Edward Alston and Father; Terence Huckstep, Uncle; James Arrington. Jade leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved mother; Sandra (Milton Avery) Huckstep, father; Edward (Connie Caffey) Arrington Sr., Brothers; Dexter Arrington, Derik Haley, Edward Arrington Jr.. Grandmother; Mattie (Lee) Franklin, Grandfathers; Harford (Bobbie Jean) Taite Jr., Wilbur Huckstep (Margaret), and George F. Davis Sr. and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and love ones.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
