It was a very sad moment when I hear the news but I remember you well Herman! I remember your strength, your pride, and your intellect. You were always pleasant and admired by many! Rest now and know we we will all meet again in heaven where we won’t ever have to say goodbye again. From labor to reward! See you later Herman Banks! ❤️

Well my cousin, It is so hard to say goodbye, but I will see you later . You know it is Magic City Classic time and we would be talking smack about whether or not ASU or A&M would win. I will miss your endless hugs and huge smile. We sat in Sunday School laughing at Sandra and her many facial expressions. I will forever hear you singing Jesus Keep Me Near the Cross in my heart. You left us too soon. You and Dip and Sammie start yall a Shiloh Male Chores in Heaven. I am sorry I could not be in Shiloh to say my last goodbye but I will carry you in my spirit at the Classic and I will Say Go Hornets one time for you. Love you forever cousin.

Words cannot express the deep admiration and love I have for this man. My kinfolk found me and made it his personal mission to have a relationship with me to make sure I knew we were family. Even when I moved back up north he stayed in constant contact with me and always had words of encouragement for me a single mom of two trying to make a way in the big city. I will always remember his hearty laugh and beautiful smile. To my family especially Lakea know that I am always here just a phone call or text away no matter the hour. Like cousin used to end and begin every conversation I love you kinfolk

The family is weeping, our hearts are heavy but Heaven is smiling. God has our loved one safe in His arms. The tears will endure for however long the night is, but the joy will greet us in the morning. God has spoken and let the Family say amen as we embrace each other Pray for each other and cherish the memories that our Herman left us to cherish for our lifetimes.
I love my family.
