Herman Lee Banks, Jr.

Herman, Jr. was born on August 10, 1979, in Monroe County, AL; He is one of two children born to the loving union of Herman Lee Banks, Sr., and Gloria Jean Banks. Herman attended and graduated from Frisco City High School in 1997. He proudly represented his high school and band as a Drum Major. After graduation, Herman served his county in the United States Navy. He also attended Alabama State University where he played the Saxophone in the band. 

A well-liked and popular face, Herman worked as a dispatcher for Monroeville Police Department and as a Computer informations Technician for the University of South Alabama. Herman Jr., trusted in God's word and accepted Christ as his personal Savior. He was an active member of the Shiloh Baptist Church in Frisco City, where he was a member of the Choir, Youth Counselor.

On September 30, 2017, God called this young Christian home to rest. His battle was over. He was preceded in death by his mother and his grandfather.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his father: Herman Lee Banks, Sr., of Frisco City, AL; one sister: Lakea (Scottie) Banks English of Frisco City, AL; grandmother: Ola Bell Banks of Frisco City, AL; several aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, other loved relatives and many devoted friends.
